A very close game took place in Reims between Chalons-Reims and Boulazac Basket. Fourteenth ranked Chalons-Reims (12-18) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Boulazac Basket (15-14). Panamanian-American forward Akil Mitchell (206-92, college: Virginia) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Chalons-Reims moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Chalon. Boulazac Basket lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Chalons-Reims will meet Le Portel (#17) on the road in the next round. Boulazac Basket will play against Olympique Antibes (#18) and hope to secure a win.
