Craiova prevailed against Timisoara to even the series at 1-1. It looked good early as Timisoara took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Craiova had a 27-20 second period charge getting the lead and Timisoara was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-88. Craiova players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Montenegrin Goran Gajovic (199-88, agency: 011 Sports) notched 17 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and American guard Morris Curry (181-87, college: Providence) supported him with 18 points and 5 assists. Four Craiova players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Sherwood Brown (193-91, college: FGCU) did not help to save the game for Timisoara.
