Rather predictable result in Arenys del Mar where sixth ranked Arenys (14-12) defeated 8th ranked SESE (12-15) 73-60 on Saturday. SESE was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Marti Tomas (191-96) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Roger Almuni (202-89) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Arenys players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Albert Barquets (189-98) with 12 points and 5 rebounds and forward Gonzalo Vazquez (-92) scored 13 points. SESE's coach Carles Espona let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Arenys moved-up to fourth place in Group C-B, which they share with Castelldefels and Alfinden. Newly promoted SESE dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost.
