Another exciting game for Rioja (1-2) which played in Leon against Aros Patatas (0-3). Rioja upset home team edging them after exciting game by two points 81-79. Aros Patatas was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Aros Patatas was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Canadian swingman Jessica Fequiere (180-93, college: Albany) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. Russian power forward Mariya Davydova (190-93, college: FIU) helped adding 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Rioja players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-96, college: Baylor) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Patricia Vicente (176-98) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
