There was an upset when higher ranked Culleredo (17-9) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Naron (9-17) 81-69 on Saturday. Naron dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Culleredo's 26. Naron forced 20 Culleredo turnovers. Forward Ruben Rey (198-93) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Jorge Abelleira (180-97) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Georgian swingman Luka Bulashvili (192-98) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and center Mario Cabanas (207-85) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Culleredo players scored in double figures. Culleredo's coach Luis Folla let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Naron maintains twelfth position in Group A-B with 9-17 record. Loser Culleredo keeps the fourth place with nine games lost.
