Everything went according to plan in Penrith where third ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (6-2) outscored 5th ranked Panthers (4-4) 107-72 on Saturday. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Kevin White (189-87, college: Alaska-Anch.) stepped up and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and guard Steven White (182-90, college: Alaska-Anch.) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players scored in double figures. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Sean Weekes (194) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocks and Joshua Kalwy scored 9 points and 11 rebounds.
