Regular Season Round 9: Albury W.B. - BA CoE 89-94

Date: April 27, 2019
The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Bandits (3-1) in Albury on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked BA CoE (4-3) 94-89. They made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BA CoE made 10 blocks. Alex Ducas stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and forward Hunter Goodrick (201-0) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds. BA CoE's coach Adam Caporn used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Ken-Jah Bosley (185, college: Ky Wesleyan) with 40 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and the other American import power forward Torren Jones (206-94, college: William Penn) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks. BA CoE moved-up to fifth place in League. Bandits at the other side dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. BA CoE will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bandits will play at home against the league's second-placed Ballarat Miners (#2) and are hoping to win this game.
