Regular Season Round 30: Bologna - Cagliari CUS 69-38
Date: April 27, 2019
Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Cagliari CUS (13-16) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Bologna (24-6) 69-38 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Bologna especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. The former international point guard Raelin DAlie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) scored 24 points to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Elisabetta Tassinari (175-94) chipped in 17 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Erika Striulli (170-90) with 21 points and the former international forward Silvia Favento (185-85) scored 6 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bologna maintains second position in A2 with 24-6 record having just two points less than leader Costa Masnaga. Loser Cagliari CUS keeps the tenth place with 16 games lost.
