There was no surprise in Olaz where 12th ranked Univ.Valladolid (6-20) was outplayed by sixth ranked Valle de Egues (16-11) 90-70 on Saturday. Valle de Egues made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Center Inigo Sesma (197-89) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Javier Lacunza (204-94, college: FAU) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Valle de Egues players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Alejandro Pescador (180-97) with 21 points and Ignacio Sierra (196-97) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Valle de Egues maintains sixth position in Group A-A with 16-11 record. Univ.Valladolid lost third consecutive game.
