Regular Season Round 30: Chalon - Nanterre 64-66

The most exciting game of round 30 in the ProA U21 took place in Chalon. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Chalon (18-12) to eighth ranked Nanterre (15-16) 66-64 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Chalon. Nanterre forced 22 Chalon turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Aboubakar Jaiteh (195-98) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Florian Fortas (193-0) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Babacar Niasse (194-0) who recorded 24 points and 4 assists and point guard Hugo Besson (184-1) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Chalon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Nanterre moved-up to seventh place. Chalon at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. Nanterre are looking forward to face higher ranked Gravelines (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chalon will play against Dijon and is hoping to win this game.
