Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Benahavis and one of their biggest challengers Cazorla had identical 7-9 record. This time Benahavis used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Cazorla 115-112 on Saturday night. Benahavis dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Cazorla's 52. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Forward Javier Meras (194-82) scored 45 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Ismael Torres (202-79) chipped in 30 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Benahavis will face Andujar (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Cazorla will play against Utrera (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
