Very significant was Tokyo Excel.'s (#1, 10-0) victory against 4th ranked Iwate Big Bulls (4-6) 77-57. Tokyo Excel. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Iwate Big Bulls' 28. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tokyo Excel. made 7 blocks.
