Regular Season Round 30: Chalon - Nanterre 94-97
Date: April 27, 2019
Thirteenth-ranked Chalon/Saor (12-18) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked JSF Nanterre (21-9) on Saturday. The visitors from Nanterre managed to secure only three-point victory 97-94. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for American guard Jeremy Senglin (188-95, college: Weber St.) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 4 assists. International Lahaou Konate (196-91) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Justin Robinson (174-95, college: Monmouth) replied with 19 points and 7 assists and the former international Mickael Gelabale (202-83) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Chalon/Saor. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chalon/Saor's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JSF Nanterre have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-9 record having just two points less than leader ASVEL. Chalon/Saor at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Chalons-Reims. JSF Nanterre are looking forward to face Gravelines-Dunkerque (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chalon/Saor will play against JDA Dijon (#4) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
