There was no surprise in Wonthella where 7th ranked Giants (5-4) were outplayed by fifth ranked Buccaneers (6-2) 86-59 on Sunday. Buccaneers dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Giants' 18. They outrebounded Giants 49-22 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Buccaneers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Brendan Dinardo (185-95) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Buccaneers players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Manylok Malek (201-94) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and American swingman Jay Bowie (196-92, college: Marist) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Buccaneers moved-up to second place in League. Loser Giants keep the seventh position with four games lost. Buccaneers will face Magic (#13) in Mandurah in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Giants will play at home against Cougars (#11) and hope to win that game.
