Finals Game 1: Naestved - Randers 96-90

Naestved finished third in Basketligaen season. They edged Randers in the consolation final. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Randers won third quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Naestved won last quarter 25-19. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Israeli center Anton Shoutvin (206-89) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). American Jordan Mathews (191-94, college: Gonzaga) contributed with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Australian guard Rasmus Bach (193, college: Fort Lewis) answered with 24 points and American point guard Devon Thomas (183-94, college: Texas Tech) added 17 points and 8 assists in the effort for Randers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
