Semi-Finals Game 3: ICIM Arad - Sf.Gheorghe 46-83

Sf.Gheorghe upset ICIM Arad on the road to sweep the series. The game without a history. Sf.Gheorghe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a quality performance for Lithuanian swingman Marina Solopova (182-90) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Slovakian Angelika Slamova (173-94) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Coach Zoran Mikes's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Marta Fodor (183-91) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for ICIM Arad in the defeat.
