Oberwart topped Vienna to surge ahead in the series. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-64. Gunners Oberwart dominated on the defensive end, holding Hallmann to just 6 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Hallmann's 28. Gunners Oberwart looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Hallmann's players. American guard Hayden Lescault (196-92, college: Point Loma) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners.
