Kapfenberg outgunned Timberwolves in Game 1. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 45-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kapfenberg Bulls outrebounded Timberwolves 40-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92) fired 19 points and 7 assists for the winners.
