Very predictable result when second ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (10-7) defeated at home bottom-ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (3-12) 97-93 on Wednesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. They maintain second place with 10-7 record having just one point less than leader Tijuana, which they share with Culiacan and Hermosillo. Pioneros Los Mochis lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon will face Venados (#6) in Mazatlan in the next round.
