Craiova outgunned Timisoara to take 2-1 lead. It looked good early as Timisoara took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Craiova had a 24-21 second period charge getting the lead and Timisoara was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-90. Craiova shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Montenegrin Goran Gajovic (199-88, agency: 011 Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Morris Curry (181-87, college: Providence) accounted for 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Craiova players scored in double figures. Serbian Nikola Pesakovic (193-91, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 16 points and 5 assists and international Dragos Diculescu (192-99) added 16 points respectively for Timisoara in the defeat.
