Second Stage Round 10: Ulcinj - Lovcen 77-80

Important game to mention about took place in Ulcijn. Fourth ranked Lovcen (2-2) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging bottom-ranked Ulcinj (0-4) 80-77 in the fight for the fourth place. Lovcen made 35-of-37 charity shots (94.6 percent) during the game, while Ulcinj only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Ulcinj was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Aleksa Popovic (201-87) scored 26 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Milos Popovic (198-98) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Lovcen players scored in double figures. Lovcen maintains fourth position in Liga with 2-2 record. Ulcinj at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Lovcen will play against league's second-placed Mornar Bar at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Ulcinj will play against Jedinstvo in Bijelo Polje and hopes to get finally their first victory.
