Eighth-ranked Real Betis II (7-11) made lots of trouble for second ranked Almeria (13-5) on Saturday. Almeria managed to secure only two-point victory 73-71. However their fans expected much easier game. Almeria forced 19 Real Betis II turnovers. Strangely Real Betis II outrebounded Almeria 44-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Joaquin Reyes (196-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Lithuanian guard Povilas Bileisis (192-90) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side Juan Cebolla responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and Dong Hao scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Almeria maintains second place in Group D-Permam with 13-5 record having just four point less than leader Lliria. Newly promoted Real Betis II keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost.
