The game in Renova was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Iwate Big Bulls (6-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Kagoshima (3-9). Iwate Big Bulls defeated Kagoshima 87-77 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kagoshima. They outrebounded Kagoshima 39-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Iwate Big Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import center Marcus Cousin (211-86, college: Houston) helped adding 15 points and 14 rebounds. Four Iwate Big Bulls players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Shelton Boykin (198-92, college: Angelo St.) responded with 33 points (!!!), 5 assists and 5 steals and Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Iwate Big Bulls maintains fourth place with 6-6 record.
