Oberwart knocked down Vienna for the second straight win. The game without a history. Gunners Oberwart led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. British center Chris Tawiah (207-93, college: Wiley) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian swingman Andrius Mikutis (194-88, college: John Brown, agency: Players Group) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures. Gunners Oberwart's coach Horst Leitner used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international Jason Detrick (195-80, college: Oklahoma) replied with 35 points (!!!) (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and American power forward David Haughton (198-91, college: Purchase) added 7 points and 17 rebounds in the effort for Hallmann.
