Regular Season Round 10: Warwick S. - Joondalup W. 80-71

Date: May 4, 2019
There was a surprise result in Perth where fifth ranked Senators (7-2) defeated top-ranked Wanneroo (7-3) 80-71 on Saturday. Senators had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) fired 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Cody Ellis (202-90, college: St.Louis) chipped in 17 points. Four Senators players scored in double figures. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and American swingman Ridell Camidge (192-96, college: Oklahoma City) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Wanneroo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Senators moved-up to third place in League. Loser Wanneroo dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Senators will face Slammers (#14) in Bunbury in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Wanneroo will play at home against Magic (#13) and hope to win that game.
