There was a minor upset in Seaford where 10th ranked NW Tasmania Thunder (4-3) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Frankston Blues (3-4) 103-90 on Saturday. Frankston Blues dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to NW Tasmania Thunder's 48. American guard Najeal Young (198-94, college: Texas Wesleyan) fired 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Sudanese forward Majok Majok (206-92, college: Ball St.) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Frankston Blues players scored in double figures. Frankston Blues' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
