Regular Season Round 30: Eilat - Beer Sheva 64-52

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Hapoel Eilat's (21-9) home victory over 5th ranked Beer Sheva (14-16) 64-52. They outrebounded Beer Sheva 43-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Nigerian power forward Suleiman Braimoh (203-89, college: Rice) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds. American guard Elijah Bryant (196-95, college: BYU, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) who recorded 8 points and 15 rebounds and American-German guard Travis Warech (193-91, college: Ithaca) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hapoel Eilat have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 21-9 record. Beer Sheva lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 16 games lost. Hapoel Eilat's next round opponent will be Galil Gilboa (#10) in Rosh Pina where they are favorite. Beer Sheva will play at home against Ironi Nes-Ziona (#8) and hope to win that game.
