Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Sutherland Sharks (7-3) outleveled at home bottom-ranked Newcastle Hunters (0-8) 101-66 on Sunday. Sutherland Sharks dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Newcastle Hunters' 40 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Sutherland Sharks forced 24 Newcastle Hunters turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. American forward Kyle Steward (201-95, college: UMKC) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
