Regular Season Round 30: Holon - Bnei Hertzeliya 88-85

Twelfth-ranked Bnei Hasharon (7-23) was very close to win a game against second ranked Hapoel Holon (22-7) on Sunday. Hapoel Holon managed to secure only three-point victory 88-85. However their fans expected much easier game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Corey Walden (188-92, college: E.Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with 27 points. Forward DeQuan Jones (203-90, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jeff Adrien (201-86, college: Connecticut) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and Jerome Dyson (191-87, college: Connecticut) added 26 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 22-7 record behind leader Maccabi T-A. Bnei Hasharon at the other side stay dead last with 23 lost games. Hapoel Holon are looking forward to face Hapoel Jerusalem (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bnei Hasharon will play against Hapoel Jerusalem (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
