Regular Season Round 26: Lavrio - Ifestos 96-76

We should mention about the upset which took place in Lavrio, where higher ranked Ifestos (13-13) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Lavrio (8-18) 96-76. The game was mostly controlled by Lavrio. Ifestos was better in fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Lavrio had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Lavrio brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (203-85) notched 21 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the effort and American guard William Buford (196-90, college: Ohio St., agency: Two Points) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Lavrio players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by American Sean Evans (203-88, college: St.John's) did not help to save the game for Ifestos. His fellow American import Toddrick Gotcher (190-93, college: Texas Tech, agency: Alti Sport) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lavrio moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Ifestos at the other side keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
