Oberwart knocked down Vienna to win the series 3-1. It looked good early as Hallmann took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gunners Oberwart had a 18-15 second period charge getting the lead and Hallmann was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-82. Worth to mention a great performance of British center Chris Tawiah (207-93, college: Wiley) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Renato Poljak (197-97) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures. The former international Jason Detrick (195-80, college: Oklahoma) replied with 31 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Luka Gvozden (184-93) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Hallmann.
