Semi-Finals Game 1: Marmatiei - Focsani 93-81

The game was mostly controlled by Marmatiei. Focsani was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American guard Allan Thomas (193-90, college: Georgetown, KY) nailed 24 points and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Greg Edwards (196-90, college: Globe Tech JC) accounted for 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian center Petar Vukovic (210-97) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and the former international point guard Catalin Petrisor (184-92) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Focsani in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
