Regular Season Round 11: NGC Seahawks - Brisbane C. 76-99

Everything went according to plan when leader Brisbane Capitals (4-0) outplayed 8th ranked Seahawks (1-2) in Runaway Bay 99-76 on Saturday. Nicholas Stoddart (-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Aaron Anderson (178, college: N.Dakota) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Brisbane Capitals players scored in double figures. Guard Robert Linton (193) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Tom Howard (200-95) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Seahawks. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brisbane Capitals keep a position of League leader. Loser Seahawks dropped to the eleventh place with two games lost. Brisbane Capitals' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Brisbane to the arena Brisbane Spartans.
