Rather expected game in Sassari where 8th ranked MIA-RO Cantu (16-14) was defeated by fifth ranked Banco di Srd (18-12) 87-81 on Sunday. Banco di Srd outrebounded MIA-RO Cantu 44-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Marco Spissu (182-95) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Banco di Srd players scored in double figures.
