Bakken Bears clinched Ligaen 18/19 title. They stormed past Horsens IC on the road tonight to sweep the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Horsens IC managed to win third quarter 26-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Horsens IC only scored four points from the stripe. 25 personal fouls committed by Horsens IC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 9 rebounds. Jamaican-British forward Ryan Martin (206-91, college: Tenn Tech) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Bosnian forward Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Charles Callison (183-95, college: WSU) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Horsens IC. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
