The game was mostly controlled by Timisoara. CS Dinamo Bucuresti was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CS Dinamo Bucuresti 43-29 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American guard Sherwood Brown (193-91, college: FGCU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Serbian Nikola Pesakovic (193-91, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Timisoara players scored in double figures. Timisoara's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Marcu Badiu (192-0) answered with 23 points and international center Anton Diaconescu (207-97) added 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for CS Dinamo Bucuresti.
