Gmunden rallied past Oberwart for 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Gmunden Swans. Gunners Oberwart managed to win second period 12-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American power forward Torrion Brummitt (203-93, college: W.Carolina) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Daniel Friedrich (181-92) chipped in 19 points.
