No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Beer Sheva (16-17) crushed bottom-ranked Bnei Hasharon (7-26) in Hod Hasharon 92-68 on Monday. Beer Sheva outrebounded Bnei Hasharon 45-18 including a 36-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American guard Jordan Swing (198-90, college: UAB) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Beer Sheva players scored in double figures. Beer Sheva's coach Rami Hadar felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American Jerome Dyson (191-87, college: Connecticut) answered with 13 points and 4 assists and Canadian guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes (193-94, college: FSU) added 16 points in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Newly promoted Beer Sheva maintains fifth place with 16-17 record. Bnei Hasharon lost their fifth game in a row. They stay dead last with 26 lost games.
