Semi-Finals Game 2: Lietkabelis - Zalgiris 63-84

Zalgiris eased past Lietkabelis to sweep the semifinal series. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-63. Zalgiris dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Lietkabelis' 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Brandon Davies (208-91, college: BYU, agency: BeoBasket) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Marius Grigonis (198-94) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Zalgiris players scored in double figures. Zalgiris' coach Sarunas Jasikevicius felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Finnish point guard Jamar Wilson (185-84, college: Albany) responded with 18 points and Slovenian center Ziga Dimec (210-93) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
