No shocking result in a game in Northbridge where first ranked Wanneroo (12-3) defeated 8th ranked Redbacks (7-8) 108-98 on Friday. Wanneroo looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) fired 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman Ridell Camidge (192-96, college: Oklahoma City) chipped in 22 points. Five Wanneroo players scored in double figures. Wanneroo's coach used entire bench saving starting five for next games. American-French guard Jourdan DeMuynck (198-90, college: PVAMU) produced 44 points (!!!) and 6 assists and guard Marshall Nelson (188-94, college: Wayland Baptist) added 22 points respectively for lost side. Wanneroo maintains first place in League with 12-3 record. Loser Redbacks keep the eighth position with eight games lost. Wanneroo will face Slammers (#14) in Bunbury in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Redbacks will play at home against Lightning (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
