Important game to mention about took place in Guelph. Edmonton S. (2-2) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging Guelph N. (2-2) 82-80 in the game for the third place. Edmonton S. players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for swingman Jordan Baker (201, college: Alberta) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Travis Daniels (202-92, college: Mississippi St.) contributed with 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Edmonton S.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. DR Congolese-Canadian forward Chadrack Lufile (206-90, college: Wichita St., agency: Interperformances) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and DR Congolese-Canadian guard Myck Kabongo (190, college: Texas) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Guelph N.Edmonton S. will play against Saskatchewan R. in Saskatoon in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Guelph N. will play on the road against Niagara RL and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
