ALBA defeated Ratiopharm to sweep the quarterfinal series. ALBA Berlin forced 21 ratiopharm Ulm turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for point guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Forward Luke Sikma (202-89, college: Portland) contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. ALBA Berlin's coach Garcia Aito Reneses used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Ryan Thompson (198-88, college: Rider, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 17 points and 9 assists and guard Katin Reinhardt (195-93, college: Marquette) added 21 points in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm.
