Neptunas defeated Lietkabelis in Game 1 of the consolation finals. The game was mostly controlled by Neptunas. Lietkabelis managed to win second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Lietkabelis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International power forward Gytis Masiulis (206-98) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and the former international forward Deividas Gailius (200-88, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds.
