Finals Game 2: Lietkabelis - Neptunas 75-88

Neptunas made one more step into the Bronze medal defeating Lietkabelis 88-75. They are now 2-0 in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Neptunas. Lietkabelis managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Neptunas won last quarter 24-12. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. The former international forward Deividas Gailius (200-88, agency: Octagon Europe) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Lorenzo Williams (187-84, college: Rice) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. Paulius Valinskas (190-95) responded with 18 points and Serbian swingman Marko Cakarevic (200-88) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
