Regular Season Round 4: Fraser Valley B. - Niagara RL 87-108

Date: May 31, 2019
CEBL top team - Niagara RL (5-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Fraser Valley B. (0-5) 108-87. Niagara RL players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Ryan Anderson (193, college: Nebraska) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and Bosnian-Canadian guard Nemanja Mitrovic (198, college: Portland, agency: 011 Sports) who added 20 points during the contest. Anderson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American forward Tyrrel Tate (196, college: Fayetteville St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Rodney Pryor (196, college: Georgetown) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Niagara RL have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record. Fraser Valley B. at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Niagara RL will play against league's second-placed Hamilton HB on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fraser Valley B. will play against Edmonton S. (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
