Regular Season Round 14: Willetton T. - Geraldton B. 92-101

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Buccaneers (11-4) won against 10th ranked Tigers (7-10) in Willetton 101-92 on Saturday. Buccaneers outrebounded Tigers 53-30 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Deangelo Isby (196-96, college: Utah St., agency: Haylett Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Maurice Barrow (196-92, college: Fairfield) replied with 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and guard Damien Scott (192-92) added 17 points and 8 assists in the effort for Tigers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Buccaneers moved-up to third place in League. Loser Tigers keep the tenth position with ten games lost. Buccaneers will face league's second-placed Senators in Perth in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tigers will play at home against Cougars (#13) and hope to win that game.
