There was no surprise when 14th ranked Knox Raiders (4-7) lost to ninth ranked Dandenong Rangers (7-6) in Wantirna South 76-81 on Saturday. Dandenong Rangers made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game, while Knox Raiders only scored three points from the stripe. Dandenong Rangers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Samson Froling (212-0, college: Creighton) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Center Timothy Lang (206-85, college: Stetson) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Dandenong Rangers' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
