There was an upset when higher ranked Frankston Blues (7-6) lost to sixteenth ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (5-8) in Greensborough 86-99 on Saturday. Center Ben Allen (211-86, college: St.Mary's, CA) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Nigerian-American guard Anthony Odunsi (193-92, college: Houston Baptist, agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Diamond Valley Eagles' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Naturalized Sudanese forward Majok Majok (206-92, college: Ball St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Alister MacDonald (186-92) added 16 points in the effort for Frankston Blues. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Diamond Valley Eagles moved-up to fifteenth place in League. Loser Frankston Blues dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
