The game between Top Four teams took place in Ciudad Obregon. Second-best host Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (17-13) lost to first ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (21-9) 103-97. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach Dan Tacheny allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) added 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rayos de Hermosillo maintains first place with 21-9 record. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon at the other side keeps the second position with 13 games lost. Rayos de Hermosillo's next round opponent will be Pioneros Los Mochis (#5) on the road. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon will play against Tijuana Zonkeys and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
