Regular Season Round 14: Melbourne T. - Albury W.B. 104-91

Very expected game when 11th ranked Bandits (5-7) lost to fourth ranked Tigers (8-4) in Melbourne 91-104 on Sunday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tigers made 8 blocks. Naturalized Greek forward Nic Pozoglou (198-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Canadian point guard Will Hickey (183) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. American power forward Torren Jones (206-94, college: William Penn) replied with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Ken-Jah Bosley (185, college: Ky Wesleyan) added 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Bandits. Tigers maintains fourth position in League with 8-4 record. Loser Bandits dropped to the fourteenth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
